Tottenham player ratings: Decent point at Bournemouth
Dele Alli-6.5
It wasn’t Alli’s best outing, but he did prove himself to be a nuisance for most of the match. There’s certainly some real value in that quality. Unfortunately, he didn’t irritate Bournemouth by actually scoring a goal.

Still, Alli has to be complimented for always trying to create offense. While some of his teammates are prone to stand around and watch, he’s always probing the opposition for space. His attacks don’t always come to fruition, but they put the defense under pressure. It was a decent outing for the English midfielder, but nothing special.
Christian Eriksen-5
Tottenham fans have every right to be losing patience with the classy Danish attacker. He certainly has world-class ability, but his propensity to float in and out of matches is becoming a real problem.
I can’t recall him winning a single challenge on the day. It’s not that I expect him to be a massive physical presence, but I’d like to see him win a ball upon occasion. Instead, he was a passenger for most of the match.
The way Eriksen is playing at the moment, he isn’t much use unless he creates a score. He didn’t do that today, so he was pretty useless.
