Kyle Walker-7
Walker is another player who might feel a little upset that his play wasn’t enough to earn three points for his club. He put forth another solid effort against a tricky Cherries’ attack.
The England international did a solid job in defense, but he really stood out with his ability to bomb forward in attack. He troubled the Bournemouth left wing all match long. Unfortunately, he couldn’t use his time on the ball to create any real scoring opportunities for his squad. Walker was good, but not great in the scoreless draw.
Danny Rose-6.5
Rose was a bit of a surprise starter for Spurs due to the foot injury he suffered against Leverkusen. Credit the English international for stepping up and playing through the pain.
He didn’t show any visible signs of injury, but it wasn’t Rose’s best performance. His 43rd minute yellow card put him in real danger of being sent off later in the match. In truth, he was a bit fortunate to survive for the full 90 minutes.
The good thing about Rose is that he gives you everything he has every time he steps onto the pitch. His effort level gave his club a boost, but his quality was a little lacking on the afternoon.
