Five Reasons Why Arsenal Will Win The North London Derby

Tottenham injury concerns
One of the greatest obstacles that Tottenham will need to overcome on Sunday is within their own roster. Injuries have devastated the Spurs line-up as of late and have contributed to their recent struggles.
Last season’s Golden Boot winner Harry Kane has not played since September after injuring his ankle in a match against Sunderland. Without the talented forward in the line-up, Spurs have had difficulty in attack and in their ability to put teams away.
Centre-back Toby Alderweireld suffered a knee injury last month and has struggled to get back to full fitness. The Belgian international was expected to be ready for Tottenham’s Champions League encounter with Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday, but he has taken longer to return to action than originally expected.
Midfielder Moussa Dembele’s injury in Wednesday’s match comes at the worst possible time, as Pochettino finds his Spurs side thin at the midfield position. On top of all this, Erik Lamela injured himself in training during the week and is not expected to take part in Sunday’s match as well.
All of these injuries add up to what could be a long afternoon at the Emirates for Tottenham.
