Petr Cech v Hugo Lloris

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that both clubs feature standout keepers. It’s difficult to climb near the top of the Premier League without a top class player in goal.

In all fairness, there’s very little to separate the two men. Each are capable of playing at a world-class level on their day. At this point, Lloris gets a very slight edge because he plays up to his potential more often than his Gunner opponent. That isn’t a shot at Cech, just a product of him being later in his career.

Frankly, I think Lloris may see more action in this match too. Tottenham’s offense has been struggling of late, and they’ve failed to create many quality scoring chances. Cech may be bored for long stretches.

If Tottenham are going to win this match, Lloris may need to pull off some spectacular saves. Arsenal fans will hope the French keeper is off his game on Sunday.

Advantage: Tottenham
