Hector Bellerin v Kyle Walker

This is a matchup where I actually choose to go against what the Whoscored.com ratings would say. I give Hector Bellerin the edge over Kyle Walker in another close matchup.

In reality, these two players have more in common than many might think. Both stars rely on blistering pace to cover up for the occasional mental error.

Bellerin just has slightly more pace than Walker. It’s true the Tottenham man has a great deal more strength, but that’s not the most important thing in a right back’s locker.

The young Spaniard is also the better player with the ball at his feet. Walker has the ability to get himself into lots of dangerous positions, but he tends to squander them with sub par passes. When Bellerin gets the ball out wide, he can make things happen for the Gunners. Again, both are excellent players, but Arsenal win this battle.

Advantage: Arsenal
