Mourinho has a worse record than David Moyes and Louis van Gaal after ten matches

David Moyes and Louis van Gaal were considered failures during their respective tenures with Manchester United. Mourinho is seen as the man who can restore the club to its former glory.

More from Manchester United

Under Moyes in 2013-2014 United accumulated 17 points from its first ten matches. Van Gaal’s side had 20 points at the same stage.

Mourinho has a worse record after ten games than his predecessors. His team has 15 points from a possible 30.

Of course these are early days. However, it’s already obvious that Mourinho is not a super hero with the ability to automatically make Manchester United title contenders.
