Mourinho’s player management is questionable

Mourinho’s ability to inspire his squad is questionable. He seems to be causing divisions rather than unity.

His banishment of former Germany captain Bastian Schweinsteiger from the first team is downright crazy. This week he softened his stance by allowing Schweinsteiger to return to training with the squad. Mourinho called it a “human and professional decision.”

The United boss has also alienated summer signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The midfielder has been on the fringes of the team and has started just one match.

Then there’s the once untouchable Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney. Under Mourinho he’s been benched.

Meanwhile summer signings Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba have yet to live up to their high price tags.
