Mourinho is more loyal to his coaching staff than his players

Mourinho’s coaching staff has been by his side for well over a decade. They appear to be obedient servants of the “special one”. Assistant manager Rui Faria often stands in for his boss during post-match press conferences.

Mourinho’s crew have moved with him every time he’s left one club for another. That loyalty is a great attribute. However, as a manager, your job is to be loyal to your club first.

Based on his past treatment of many of his players and staff it’s apparent that United’s manager is more loyal to his inner circle than his employers.
