Mourinho needs to stop believing his own hype and realize that he is human. It’s time to prove that he truly is a great manager and not just a guy that can win by inheriting a team of all-stars.
Over the past ten years Mourinho hasn’t changed. At the same time new managers have made their mark on the Premier League with fresh ideas and styles of play. Mourinho now has competition. Whether it’s Jürgen Klopp, Pep Gaurdiola, Mauricio Pochettino, Antonio Conte, Ronald Koeman or even his longtime nemesis Arsene Wenger, Mourinho is not the only “special” manager in the league.
Now is the time for Mourinho to step up and truly show how great of a manager he is.
