5. Tottenham

You might be a little surprised to see a club this far up the Premier League title on this list. Spurs are in fifth place at the moment, but they’ve achieved their moderate success with one of the weakest offenses in England’s top flight.

The return of striker Harry Kane to full fitness should do a lot to address that problem. However, issues at striker aren’t the only problem plaguing Mauricio Pochettino’s squad. Spurs haven’t gotten much production from their attacking midfielders.

In particular, Spurs have really struggled to create scoring chances from out wide. Georges-Kevin N’Koudou is really the only natural winger at Pochettino’s disposal. His lack of experience and command of the English language makes him difficult to play significant minutes.

Son Heung-Min and Erik Lamela have been fair, but inconsistent on the campaign. Spurs could stand to use some more attacking talent in January, and Memphis is just the sort of young, talented prospect that Pochettino has been able to successfully integrate into the Tottenham first team.

I can’t see this move happening due to the finances, but from a on-field fit, it would be an excellent move for Spurs and Memphis.
