1. Leicester City

The bloom is officially off the rose for last year’s Premier League champions. Claudio Ranieri’s squad are currently languishing in 14th place in the league table and certainly need to shake things up in January.

At first glance, adding wingers wouldn’t seem like a great solution for the Foxes. However, the stress of Champions League football will push Leicester to bolster the squad in January. Riyad Mahrez can’t start every match out wide for the club.

More from Manchester United

Ranieri does already have Demarai Gray at his disposal, but he’s been reluctant to use him as a starter. In truth, he hasn’t been all that effective as a substitute either.

Adding Memphis would give Ranieri a dangerous option off the match in Champions League football, and a player capable of starting lower-tier Premier League matches. He might not be quite the established asset Foxes fans are hoping to add in January, but he could be one of the best wide men available to them.
