A short break interrupts the MLS playoff excitement and momentum, but that doesn’t mean we can’t discuss and analyze the semi-finals from a number of different angles. 

With only four teams still remaining that could lift the MLS Cup, I believe it is high time we rank them in terms of what club needs to win it the most.  With Colorado being the only club that has tasted even an MLS final, the other three will be salivating at the chance of even making an appearance.

This final four also offers some interesting stories and fanbases that will surely factor into the discussion.  So in descending order from the club that least needs to win the title, here we go.
