It’s been a shaky start for Manchester United under Jose Mourinho so far this season, with the Portuguese manager taking longer than expected to discover his strongest team in his strongest formation.

The former Chelsea boss may have recruited in the summer, but he will be eyeing up more talent to persuade to join the Red Devils – with that, expect some departures to come, even as early as January.

With reports of as many as eight players failing to make the cut, here I will analyse which players may well leave Old Trafford soon in search of a resurgence in their own careers as well as in the best interest of Manchester United as they look forward towards being a global force not to be reckoned with in the near future.
