2. Morgan Schneiderlin
Morgan Schneiderlin’s stock has fallen considerably since his move from Southampton to Manchester, it’s fair to say. Under The Special One, the French international has only managed 6 appearances, with just 2 from those being in the Premier League. For a combined 6 minutes.
The lack of trust by Mourinho in the midfielder prompts questions as to whether he will be shipped off in January as his time in red hasn’t quite worked out as well as it was hoped. When the likes of Michael Carrick are not getting game time in the Premier League, it makes you wonder what chance Schneiderlin has for the rest of this season. The answer to that? Not very much.
There’s no doubt that he’s actually a talented and useful asset to have, but again the little faith that the United boss has in him reflects well through the amount of times he has been on the bench this season already.
With reports of Crystal Palace, Tottenham and AC Milan gathering interest in the former Saints man, he could well be off on his way out of Old Trafford before the winter ends.
