2. Harry Kane

The prolific centre forward came very close to finishing number one on my list, but he barely missed out on the top spot. Instead he checks in at number two on the list of potential Spurs captains.

In many ways, Kane already serves Tottenham as a leader on and off the pitch. He’s the face of the club off the pitch and is generally their most productive outfield player when he’s fit. Don’t let his injury absence obscure your memory on just how talented Kane really is.

It’s easy to forget just how young Kane is as well. He may look and play like a veteran, but he’s still just 23-years-old. Kane has plenty of prime playing years in front of him.

Provided he stays healthy, and stays at Tottenham, he has an excellent chance to take over for Hugo Lloris. Spurs fans will hope that both of those conditions are met.
