The Russian magician wreaked havoc in 2009-10 and 2010-11, while helping Arsenal earn their first ever victory against Barcelona.
Though he dropped in the pecking order in 2012-13, Arshavin’s final involvement with Arsenal came when he set up Thierry Henry for the winning goal against Sunderland before going on loan to his boyhood club.
It was reported Arshavin would leave the club in 2013 once his contract ended, and he went back to Zenit Saint Petersburg before signing for FC Kairat March 18, 2016.
