2. Moussa Marega

Even the most optimistic Tottenham fan would admit there’s some concern that Vincent Janssen might not cut it at Spurs. The struggles of the Dutch striker could put Daniel Levy in the market for another centre forward this January.

Unfortunately, Tottenham don’t have the financial might to acquire another world-class option. That means they’ll have to purchase a striker who’s still relatively unproven.

Moussa Marega certainly fits the bill. He isn’t thriving in one of Europe’s top leagues, but he’s been prolific on the year. The Mali striker is exactly the right sort of striker for Tottenham to take a gamble on.

Of course, even though he’s relatively unproven, he still won’t come cheap. Liverpool are also rumored to be interested in his services. The Reds seemingly have enough attacking talent, but that might not be a possibility while Jurgen Klopp is in charge.

Tottenham would be wise to add another striking option this January and Marega is the most likely option.
