Tottenham Hotspur Football Club was established in North London back in 1882.

Prior to the start of the Premier League, Spurs bounced between Divisions One and Two.

The club’s most successful period came in the early 1960’s. The team won both the Division One crown and the FA Cup in 1960-1961. That was Spurs’ second ever and last title.

Other honors won by Tottenham over the years include:

  • Eight FA Cups
  • Four League Cups
  • Seven FA Charity Shield/FA Community Shield trophies
  • One UEFA Cup Winners Cup
  • Two UEFA Cup/UEFA Europa League trophies

Under current manager Mauricio Pochettino, Spurs have challenged for the league title in recent years. They are currently playing Champions League football after finishing third last season.
