5 players Bayern Munich should sell

Pep Guardiola has departed Bayern Munich for Manchester City, whilst Carlo Ancelotti is the new man at the helm of the Bundesliga champions.

A change in manager comes a change with players. Many want to overhaul the squad, whilst others have to work with what they have got.

Despite the money that Bayern Munich obviously have, Ancelotti has kept the same core of players the Guardiola used to record three consecutive Bundesliga titles.

However, with a focus on youth players such as Joshua Kimmich and Renato Sanches, some of the ‘older generation’ are likely to depart the club.

Whilst Thomas Muller, Philipp Lahm and Manuel Neuer are the key members of the squad, and for the trio that have become core members of the squad for nearly the last decade, it won’t be long before the next generation comes through.

There’s players that before Guardiola took charge looked to be moving on anyway, but revitalised under the tuition of the Spaniard, it now could be time for the following five to move away from the Allianz Arena.
