2. Arsenal 2-1 Manchester United (21st January, 2007)

The 200th meeting between the two clubs was yet another classic. Manchester United took an early lead thanks to Wayne Rooney after 10 minutes. However the comeback kings were denied victory as Arsenal scored two late goals.

Robin van Persie levelled the scores, getting on the end of Tomas Rosicky’s 83rd-minute cross. Celebrations turned sour for Rosicky however, as he broke a bone in his foot while celebrating. Thierry Henry then sealed a come-from-behind win for Arsenal in stoppage time, heading home from Emmanuel Eboue’s cross.

United had looked to extend their Premier League lead to nine points. But Henry’s winner with the last kick of the game, and it was the first and only time Sir Alex Ferguson ever conceded a last minute-winner.

The result gave Arsenal a league double over Manchester United. But they managed to recover and win the league for the first time in four years. Arsenal finished fourth, 21 points behind United.
