4. Marouane Fellaini

Belgian international Marouane Fellaini is one of three current or former Everton midfielder’s on this list so you have to wonder what is in the water there?

(Which is to reckon without Idrissa Gueye, who is joint third on the disciplinary points table accounting for card accumulation only and Yannick Bolasie in the top 20 for fouls committed).

With a respectable tally of four yellow cards spanning 18 fouls, Fellaini has earned his place for being consistently dirty.

Again to be fair to Fellaini, the United man is deployed in the central midfield area at the heart of the battle each Premier League weekend.

That said, at a foul every 38.4 minutes the Red Devils could perhaps do with him catching opponents late a bit less often.

With 201 tackles, United are eighth overall in the Premier League tackle table. Fellaini accounts for only 25 of those.

Taking into consideration the 17 fouls, that basically means if Fellaini is on you, you have barely better than a 50/50 chance of being clattered.
