Son Heung-Min-6.5

Let’s not get carried away with Son’s contributions in this match. He was certainly a key factor in the unlikely come back, but it wasn’t as if he dominated the match off the bench.

He deserves credit for making a really spectacular cross that led to Kane’s equalizer. I’m less inclined to give him accolades for earning the penalty. He was very fortunate that the West Ham defender made an extremely stupid challenge.

Fans of the South Korean attacker will trumpet this match as a reason he should start, but I’m not willing to concede that fact. He needs to become much more consistent to merit a regular place in the starting XI.

Dele Alli-7

Son will get all the credit from Tottenham’s bench mob, but for me Dele was a more influential figure. When he came onto the pitch, Spurs really showed the ability to trouble West Ham’s defense for the first time in the second half.

No, he didn’t provide a score or assist, but he showed purpose. Sometimes, that’s all Tottenham need to unlock their offensive.

Kieran Trippier-Incomplete

Trippier came on as a late substitute but really didn’t have time to influence the match. It’s very possible we’ll see him against Monaco during the middle of the week. Kyle Walker simply can’t play every match at his usual high effort level.
