5 reasons Sevilla will beat Juventus
By Matt English
1. Current Champions League form
Sevilla is sitting at the top of Group H, winning three out of their four matches so far in the competition. Their only draw came away to Juventus, so the club is hoping to carry that positive into this match. Holding the Old Ladies to no goals was a huge accomplishment, especially away from home.
The team has been incredibly solid defensively in Europe, keeping a clean sheet in each of the four matches they have played. They are the only club besides English champions Leicester to have no goals allowed, and will certainly be looking to keep it that way.
Summer signing Gabriel Mercado has been a rock at the back, even scoring a 90th minute game winner in their last match. Partnering with Adil Rami, the Sevilla backline is a force to be reckoned with. They will have to be sharp the entire time against the Juventus attack if they want to come out with a win.
