2. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

The most likely name on this list, Aubameyang has grabbed everyone’s attention by making real waves in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund.

The Gabon international is a player who the big clubs have all kept an eye on in the past, but never quite made the move. He started his European journey with AC Milan, but after failing to establish himself alongside some of the games biggest names as a youngster, he left for Ligue 1 and St Etienne, where he began to show what he could do.

It seems, though, that the elite thought it too big a risk and that he needed to prove himself at a higher level. Since moving to the Signal Iduna Park in 2013, the 27-year-old has proven himself with 66 goals in 106 league games.

More from Real Madrid

Talk of another move has increased steadily over time, but Aubameyang has distanced himself for the most part. Every club has been shunned, except Real, whom he says he would like to play for one day after promising his grandfather.

His time is now, so this deal must happen in the coming months if Madrid are going to get value for money. With Morata and Karim Benzema already competing foe the centre forward position, their need for Aubameyang may seem small, but this is a club who thrives in being inundated with options all over the pitch.

There is no doubt this move makes sense, and Aubameyang should seriously think about it for his next challenge.
