Arguably the best change Chelsea made this summer was bringing in Antonio Conte. It was clear they needed a change after last season, but the impact Conte is bringing to the team is making them serious early title contenders. After coaching the Italian national team, Conte showed the world that he could take seemingly average players and turn them into a well oiled machine. Coming to Chelsea, he had a ton of talent that needed refining and sharpening.

Conte is taking players like Costa and Hazard and showing other teams just how frightening they can be if they have the right coach. A player like Moses, who has not been given a look in the Chelsea side for years, suddenly starts regularly and is a real staple of the team. It really is remarkable what he has done with a team that was at one point last season in crisis mode and losing games consistently with a near similar group of players.

Conte is going to be a huge part of the match against Manchester City. Bringing his masterclass to the game will be evident from the first minute to the last. He can make match altering changes on the fly and exploit weak spots in a team in an instant. Going head to head with City manager Pep Guardiola, another tactical mastermind, is sure to be a high-powered matchup. The match will be in Manchester and is set to kick off at 7:30am EST.
