2. Harry Kane’s health

Tottenham inked Harry Kane to a brand new contract yesterday which has to have the English striker feeling over the moon. His affection for the club is obvious. He’ll be highly motivated to come out and show off the full-range of his talents in his first match after signing the bumper deal.

That in and of itself is bad news for Bob Bradley’s side. When you combine it with the striker’s improving health and fitness you could get an absolute Swansea disaster.

It’s not an exaggeration to say this is the healthiest Kane has been all season. Even before his ankle injury sidelined him, he clearly looked tired from his summer of football. His injury afforded him important rest.

Now, that rest is combined with the full recovery of his ankle. He’ll enter Saturday’s match feeling great both physically and emotionally. It wouldn’t surprise me at all to see Kane bag a brace to celebrate his good fortunes.
