After being sidelined for two months with a leg fracture, Casemiro is racing to be fit as Real tries to leave Barca in the dust in Saturday’s Clasico.
“Casemiro is ready to play,” Zidane said. “The idea is for him to feature a bit on Wednesday against Cultural Leonesa and then we’ll see for Saturday [against Barcelona].”
“When you look at the way we’ve played in midfield in our recent games, we’ve been strong. Casemiro has come back, he’s fit and ready to help the team. He’s with us and we’ll have to see what we’re going to do on Saturday, but we’re going to need everyone.”
