Tottenham got well in their 5-0 drubbing of Swansea

With all due respect to Bob Bradley and the Swansea squad, Tottenham needed a comfortable win this weekend. Spurs got exactly that in their dominating performance at home against the Swans.

Of course, one match can only be worth three points. Mauricio Pochettino is undoubtedly happy with the match’s result, but the key is what he learned about his club in the process. Fortunately, Saturday produced mostly positive results.

Unfortunately, the majority of the post-match chatter has centered around whether or not Dele Alli dove to earn the penalty that led to Spurs’ first goal. Don’t worry, I’ll get into that, but I’m not going to let that debate dominate the story. There were plenty of more important lessons in the match than whether or not the English starlet toppled over.

Without further delay, read on to discover the five most important things Tottenham learned about themselves in the win over Swansea. These are the storylines you should be watching moving forward to this week’s matches.
