Ronald Koeman – Everton
Few managers anywhere in the world bring a resume as impressive as Everton’s Ronald Koeman, both as a player and a coach. A European champion with the Netherlands and a part of Johan Cruyff’s “Dream Team” at Barcelona, the Dutchman brings a knowledge of the sport that can immediately improve a club’s form.
After his career as a player ended in 1997, Koeman began as an assistant on the Dutch national team and Barcelona before taking over Eredivisie powerhouse Ajax. He led the club to two league titles, winning another when he moved to PSV Eindhoven in 2006.

Koeman replaced Mauricio Pochettino at Southampton in the summer of 2014. Koeman’s first season in the English Premier League, the loss of a talented manager in Pochettino and several key players leaving the club all seemed to add up to a difficult road ahead for Southampton.
But Ronald Koeman was more than ready for the challenge.
Seventh place in the table that season was followed by an even more impressive showing in 2015-16. Koeman and the Saints ended a marvelous run with their best Premier League finish in club history in sixth place, along with qualification for the UEFA Europa League.
Joining Everton this past summer, the club enjoyed an impressive start to the Premier League season. Although recent form has dipped, Koeman’s tactical abilities and a talented Toffees line-up are bound to produce more positive results as the campaign moves ahead.
