El Clasico proved to be a dramatic and entertaining match, but it wasn’t filled with top-class football. It’s safe to say that both sides let their emotions get the best of them on several occasions. That’s not a huge surprise, but it’s an unfortunate reality.

Los Blancos have no such blood feud against Dortmund. That will allow the squad a chance to return to their usual style of football filled with precision. A cool, calm and collected Real Madrid is a frightening opponent.

Real Madrid aren’t satisfied being one of the best football teams in the world. They are only satisfied when they are acknowledged as the best squad on Earth. After a frustrating draw against Barcelona, they’ll want to show the world that was just an aberration. That could lead to a long evening for Dortmund.
