Five players Liverpool should sign in January

For the first time in a few years, Liverpool FC is a title contender once more and, bar their shocking 4-3 defeat at AFC Bournemouth over the weekend, have been running rampant over various opposition under manager Jurgen Klopp.

While LFC is out of Europe in 2016/17, leaving just the Premier League and cup competitions to focus on, if they are to stay title contenders they will not only need the talent to stay top, but the bodies to field as well.

Recently, injury concerns have piled up for various members of the squad. Philippe Coutinho, Adam Lallana, Joel Matip, and more have all missed different amounts of time due to picking up knocks, and add injuries to the fact that they will lose energetic winger Sadio Mane to the African Cup of Nations Tournament in January (and potentially Joel Matip as well), it might be well worth dipping into the transfer market when January rolls around.

There have been a few players linked with the Reds in recent months with American and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Christian Pulisic leading the headlines, and with Pulisic, here are five players Jurgen Klopp might have an eye on next month.
