Could Liverpool FC target Dahoud in January?

2. Mahmoud Dahoud

Like Pulisic’s, Dahoud’s name has been mentioned since the summer window with a number of clubs showing a running interest in the 20-year-old.

Dahoud has made seven league appearances for German club Borussia Monchengladbach and has also featured four times in their Champions League campaign. More of a deep-lying midfielder, the Syrian has shown a promising ability to spray the ball to his teammates often linking up the defense with the attack.

His most recent contribution to BMG was a goal against Hoffenheim back on the 26th of November when he was also named Man of the Match, but he played nearly an hour against Barcelona in their last UCL group game in which he completed 79.3% of his passes.

Also like Pulisic, the rumored fee for the youngster is quite high, and with other clubs like Manchester City supposedly circling around him, his price may only rise through the winter window. Less of a gamble and one for the future, though, it would be money well spent should Liverpool pull the trigger on a deal.
