Tottenham will make some changes from the CSKA match

Tottenham head to Old Trafford on Sunday in the most intriguing Premier League tie of the weekend. Mauricio Pochettino’s side will enter the encounter with a two match winning streak. You can rest assured that Spurs will want to make it three against United.

The first choice Pochettino has to make is about the formation. Expect the Argentine boss to stick with the 4-2-3-1 setup that worked so well against CSKA. Yes, United are a much more talented side than their Russian counterparts, but Spurs should still set up in the same manner.

Just because Pochettino will choose the same formation, does not mean he’ll chose the same starting group. Fortunately, he didn’t lose any stars due to injury against CSKA, but he’ll still be mindful of rotating the squad.

Simply put, Pochettino is going to put out his most powerful starting XI on Sunday. With only Erik Lamela slated to miss the match due to injury, Tottenham should have a full squad to choose from against Jose Mourinho’s side.

Without further delay, read on to discover the Spurs starting XI that try to sink United at Old Trafford.
