5. Old Trafford

With just one loss at home this season, United can at least rest easy in the fact that the match against Tottenham will be a home one. The team has not been stellar in terms of overall quality at home, drawing four of their seven home matches. Recently, however, this has changed quite a bit.

More from Playing for 90

United won both 4-0 and 4-1 at home in the last week of November. Both matches were in European and League cup matches respectively, but the quality was certainly there. The fans and players will be looking towards those results in hopes of a more attacking United team at home. With the attacking players in the form they are in as of late, it will be hard to see the team create a heap of chances during the match.

With Manchester United six points behind 5th place Tottenham, this match means a lot more than just bragging rights. This could be the start of United’s surge to the top of the table. They have had a lackluster year and need to turn it around fast.

All three points will be nothing short of necessary for the Red Devils if they want to challenge for the title this year.
