Will Tottenham start Moussa Sissoko against Hull?

Make no mistake about it, Tottenham simply must earn all three points against Hull on Wednesday. That doesn’t mean Spurs will start their strongest XI though. Expect Mauricio Pochettino to choose a heavily rotated side.

Some fans might think that’s too much of a risk to take at the current point in time. The club are dangerously close to losing contact with the Premier League title race. Anything short of a victory against Hull will send Spurs into crisis mode.

The reality, however, is that Tottenham need to rotate their squad during the month of December. Matches are going to come fast and furious between now and the new year. If Pochettino doesn’t trust his bench, he risks his starters becoming run down or injured. Losing a key player due to injury is really what could derail Tottenham’s season.

As a result, look for a very interesting starting XI from Pochettino on Wednesday. This group may not start another Premier League match together all year, but they will be trusted to dispatch the struggling Tigers.
