Petr Cech is one of the best goalkeepers in the world. It’s still hard to believe that Chelsea allowed him to join a rival team. With Cech in net, Arsenal’s defense has gelled and is more confident and cohesive.

Manchester City’s goalkeeping situation has played out like a soap opera.

More from Arsenal FC

Upon his arrival, Pep Guardiola made it clear that Joe Hart was not in his plans. England and City’s number one went out on loan to Torino and Chilean Claudio Bravo was brought in to be the manager’s first choice.

The fans are demanding that Joe Hart be brought back to the club following a number of mistakes by Bravo. Unfortunately for City fans, that scenario is highly unlikely.

Guardiola is sticking with his decision and Bravo remains in goal. He has it in him to be a successful keeper, but the constant criticism only puts more pressure on a player trying to adjust to a new team.
