Arsenal have the edge based on current form.

After losing to Liverpool back in August, the Gunners went on a 19 match unbeaten run in all competitions. In league play Arsenal bounced back from the opening day loss to go 10-4-0. This successful run hit a bump in midweek when Everton gave the North London side its second loss of the season.

Despite this hiccup, Arsene Wenger’s team has shown resilience and the ability to bounce back from controversy.

Manchester City defeated Watford 2-0 on Wednesday but prior to this victory the club’s form has been less than impressive. Guardiola’s side had only four wins from its previous 15 matches. Consecutive defeats to Chelsea and Leicester saw City concede seven goals.
