Five reasons Arsenal will defeat Manchester City
By Jocelyn Taub
Manchester City’s defense has been a major concern
City has been leaking goals. It appears Guardiola has yet to figure out his best defensive alignment. Both center-back John Stones and keeper Claudio Bravo have come under fire for poor play.
The team has kept just three clean sheets in its first 16 games of the season.
City’s defense will be up against an in form Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean has 19 goals and eight assists in his last 27 league games. Along with Chelsea’s Diego Costa, Sanchez is the league leader in scoring with 12 goals.
Arsenal will be without Shkodran Mustafi but Hector Bellerin is back in the side. The Gunners’ defense has looked more solid and composed this season than in years past. Wenger now has depth in his back line and can put in a strong replacement in Mustafi’s absence.
