4 – Mourinho’s Magic.

His very own trophy cabinet and legendary teams will speak for themselves when you’re wanting to talk about Mourinho’s credibility, which quite frankly, is very high in world football.

This was a major reason as to why the hierarchy at Manchester United this summer saw him being Van Gaal’s successor; and success he shall bring.

Failure to qualify for the Champions League last season may have annoyed Mourinho very much as a spectator, but you can’t say that he has taken the Europa League to be a secondary competition for the Reds. Its importance in winning it may well be relied upon as a B+ plan in the case of a finish outside of the top four, which seems like a possibility with so many teams vying for a spot this year more than any.

Promoting youth in the form of Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial has fallen with the tradition of this club, whilst showcasing the type of gorgeous football that the crowd expects its team to see on a weekly basis. This being done whilst being under pressure to deliver, not only by the fans and the United board but also by the standards of his own after the misery of last season with Chelsea.

All this contributes to the Magic of Mourinho, which we have only seen glimpses of under the lights in Old Trafford… yet.
