Sam Allardyce was given his dream job as England manager this past summer. Unfortunately that wasn’t enough for “Big Sam”. He was relieved of his duties after just 67 days due to an undercover sting operation. Seems Allardyce was using his position of power to pad his bank account.

Then there’s Crystal Palace Chairman Steve Parish. On December 6th Parish told talkSPORT radio that his club’s manager Alan Pardew was in no danger of being terminated. His exact quote when asked about Pardew’s position, “It is totally safe”. Three weeks later Pardew was fired.

This week came the news that Crystal Palace has hired Allardyce as its new manager. When asked about the appointment Parish said that the club was “fortunate that someone of Sam’s calibre and experience was available”.

It’s a perfect match. A lying team chairman and a unethical power-hungry manager joined together.
