4. Emil Forsberg – RB Leipzig

With five goals in 14 appearances for the one-time Bundesliga leaders, Emil Forsberg is another name attracting major speculation in the 2017 winter window. Forsberg, who arrived from Malmö FF in 2015, was recently named the best attacker in the Bundesliga for the first half of the year by Kicker amid other major names up for the honor.

Despite recently renewing his deal with RBL, Forsberg has been linked with Liverpool, Tottenham, and a number of other clubs in the January window but has yet to comment on the speculation surrounding a potential move. His club, however, is adamant that the player is not for sale as he continues to light up the German league, but time (and money) will tell if that’s the truth.

One plus for Forsberg in potentially getting into the Liverpool side is his interchangeability in the line-up despite being starring exclusively out wide for RBL. That, coupled with the Swedish international being just 25 years old, means the Reds would surely expect a big price tag if their interest turns serious.
