Premier League festive period winners and losers

Everton – 2 wins – 1 draw – 7 points gained – Winners

Everton picked up seven points in seven days and moved from 9th place to 7th in the standings.

Kevin Mirallas and Romelu Lukaku led the Toffees to a 0-2 win away to current champions Leicester City.

Lukaku found the net again as his side downed Southampton at Goodison Park to start off the new year. Leighton Baines and Enner Valencia also scored in the 3-0 win.

A disappointing 2-2 draw away to Hull prevented Everton from a perfect holiday season.

Regardless of this result Ronald Koeman’s side certainly enjoyed the festive period.
