1. Deadly attacking options

United’s attack has been stellar this year. The striking options they have starting and off the bench are high quality and have been on display all season. They have created chances and are beginning to really learn and develop as a unit. The partnership that Pogba and Zlatan are creating is hard to stop, and will only grow as time goes on.

With Ibrahimovic scoring freely and Mkhitaryan finding his form, it is hard to stop United from scoring. The likes of Jesse Lingard, Rashford and Martial are all great options for the team as well.

With the latter two often coming off the bench, it is easy to see why the front three of United is so deadly. They can swap multiple players around and still pose deadly scoring opportunities.

Having these options can be very important against a team like Liverpool. Scoring early will be very important to Mourinho, as he hopes to push Liverpool’s aggressive style back as much as possible.
