Sevilla to host Real Madrid for the second time in just four days

Sevilla will take on Real Madrid again, this time in the league play, for the third time in 11 days on Sunday.

Real Madrid outplayed Sevilla in the first leg of their Copa del Rey tie at Santiago Bernabeu, winning by a scoreline of 3-0. All the goals came in the first half as James Rodriguez hit the net twice along with Raphael Varane to go completely rampant at their Andalusian counterparts.

Meanwhile in the second leg at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, it was Sevilla who were the one in total control, and were winning by 3-1 until the 82nd minute.

Although they allowed two very late goals to settle for a 3-3 draw, it was clear that Sevilla played much better than the Madrid outfits.

Both teams played with many reserves in both of those games, resting some key players for the more important match up on Sunday. With that in mind, here are the four reasons why Sevilla will come out as the winners and end Real Madrid’s Spanish record of 40 games unbeaten streak.
