Alexandre Lacazette, Lyon

Another transfer window, another opportunity to link Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette with a move to The Emirates stadium in North London.  With thirteen goals in thirteen starts (fourteen appearances) in Ligue 1, Lacazette would presumably be at minimum a twenty goal per season in the Premier League and likely more.

A pacey finisher, it is surprising that he only has ten caps and one goal for France but Lacazette would be able to prove he could play with French players with the number of compatriots he would have at Arsenal.

Every transfer window, Arsenal (and I’m sure a host of other clubs) seem to be interested in making a transfer happen but the Lyon-born Lacazette has been in the first team at Lyon since 2007 and shows little inclination to move, especially in a January window.

Lacazette could provide Arsenal with many of the same skills scouts attribute to Sanchez but whether he would be willing to cross the English Channel to play for the Gunners remains to be seen.
