Number Four: Andrea Belotti , Torino

Belotti has scored 16 goals in 21 appearances for Torino which is an immense strike rate and is actually better than Costa’s 14 goals in 19 appearances this season. While some will claim that the Seria A is easier to score in than the Premier League, it is still an impressive record for a 23-year-old.

Arsenal had a rejected bid of £56m for the striker earlier this month. So Chelsea may have to pay around the same amount they will probably get for Costa.  Although Belotti’s £85.7m. buyout clause may put off a few suitors.

Belotti is currently the second highest scorer in the Serie A with 14 goals just behind Mauro Icardi and is above Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain who has 13.  He has also represented Italy five times and scored three goals.

However, Torino’s sporting director has stated that he has no intention of selling him but hinted that he may go in the foreseeable future.

"‘Anyway, he is going nowhere for now. We want to enjoy him, then we’ll see what happens.” Next: Number three: Even more likely"
