Number three: Thomas Muller, Bayern Munich

Chelsea are surprisingly being linked with Thomas Muller. It seems like Muller has been around since the Ronaldinho days of football. But he’s actually only 27-years-old which makes him a perfect replacement for Costa. Amazingly, he has amassed 83 caps for Germany which explains why people may have thought (me) that he was much older.

The Bayern star has not been as prominent lately under boss Carlo Ancelotti and will be eager to go in order to get more first-team football. Much like the Costa situation, Muller has admitted that he’s unhappy at Bayern and wants a move.

"“Of course, I’m not sitting there with a grin on the bench.”"

The striker recently avoided speaking about his future after amusingly pretending that his passport was his phone. These antics will go down well at Chelsea, particularly with the likes of David Luiz and Eden Hazard who are known jokers (geezers).

He has only scored one goal for the Bavaria outfit and has only played a full 90 minutes five times since October.

Chelsea will bid £75m for the German striker according to reports.

He scored 20 goals for Bayern Munich last season as they went on to win the league.
