5 reasons Napoli will beat AC Milan
By Matt English
2. A deadly attacking trio
After Milik went down injured early in the season, many people questioned whether Napoli would be able to score goals without a centralized striker. They quickly proved the doubters wrong and are currently the highest scoring team in the Serie A. With a staggering 45 goals scored in 20 matches, the attacking force Napoli fields seems to be unstoppable.
The front three of Insigne, Mertens and Callejon has been incredible this season. They have 23 goals and 13 assists between the three of them in league play alone. Mertens usually starts as centralized striker, but the three often swap roles during them match. This causes confusion in the backline of the opposition which opens up space and creates chances for the Napoli attackers.

With Milik not due back for another two weeks, the trio will need to continue their dominance in attack. Milan have recently showed they can come back from a two goal deficit, so Napoli will have to stay on the offensive the entire game if they want to come out victorious.
A combination of speed, skill and finishing ability will be needed to break down the stubborn Milan defense.
