His strength and ability to pick a pass put him in an elite group of midfielders that seem to have it all. Playing next to Jorginho and the youngster Zielinski, Hamsik has plenty of cover defensively. This allows him to move forward freely and set up the unstoppable trio in front of him.
If Milan want to win this match, they need to shut down Hamsik. He is the talisman in the team and can destroy a defense if he is not properly accounted for. Napoli will certainly be looking to him to provide not only great service for his attackers, but help defensively if needed.
