ST: Harry Kane vs. Sergio Aguero

No debate here – Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero are the forwards in this line-up. Both having played similar minutes with similar appearances, the pair has produced 24 goals between the two of them (Kane – 13, Aguero – 11) and have incredibly impressive attacking numbers.

Kane earns the nod in goals scored and assists (two to Aguero’s zero) and has also completed more key passes and created more chances. The Englishman is lethal in front of goal, and with his hat-trick last week his finishing ability was on display for the world to see.

Aguero is also deadly in front of the net, and though he’s completed less key passes he does have a higher passing percentage but on more attempts. The Argentinian has a higher percentage of successful take-ons and has been able to save Manchester City seemingly out of nothing, which is why he cannot be picked against.

Rather than forcing one selection out of the two, there’s room for both in this combined starting XI.
